The Locrian’s main repertoire of shows are listed below, however they are able to play any combination of, or type of show required. The line-up can vary from trio to 12 piece and they have already played over 30 different shows at one theatre over the past three years (all sold out!!) "MUSICAL VIENNA BY CANDLELIGHT" Locrian Ensemble revel in this lavish evening of popular classical Viennese music. Vienna has always been the city of music. For centuries, the Imperial Court created a stimulating environment for musicians and artists alike. No other city has had as many famous composers residing in it. Whether street bands or balls, concerts or the opera, chamber music or Gypsy Carnivals - this city never sleeps. The Locrian Ensemble, attired in sumptuous period costume and in stunning candlelit setting, perform music by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Lehar and, of course, the Strauss family. Britain’s favourite touring ensemble is joined in this celebration of Viennese music by the celebrated soprano, Marilyn Hill Smith. ---------

THE LOCRIAN ENSEMBLE OF LONDON Present "RUSSIA BY CANDLELIGHT" Top London musicians in colourful costumes and in a glorious setting. Introduced with the usual Locrian wit, and great audience rapport, the Locrian present a nostalgic programme of music, brimming with colour and passion. The programme includes a selection from the Nutcracker Ballet, and the "Souvenir de Florence" by Tchaikovsky. These rapturous works are contrasted with the timeless Rachmaninoff "Vocalise", the sublime Borodin "Nocturne", and the fire of both the "Sabre Dance", and the virtuoso "Dance of the Tumblers". The finale features the powerful "1812 Overture".
